Vision
God's vision for St. Mark United Methodist Church is to be joined in Christ, working together, and growing disciples and serving the community around us! Therefore, as God is making us a new people, our priorities are:
1. Being of one mind, unified in diversity. (Philippians 2:1-2)
2. Communicating with our community. (Acts 22:13-15)
3. Growing our Church from every sector of our Community. (Acts 2:21)

Mission
St. Mark UMC's mission statement is, "Growing in Christ, reaching others!"
The United Methodist Church is a global denomination that opens hearts, opens minds and opens doors through active engagement with our world. The mission of The United Methodist Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
John Wesley and the early Methodists placed primary emphasis on Christian living, on putting faith and love into action. This emphasis on what Wesley referred to as "practical divinity" has continued to be a hallmark of United Methodism today.

Values
UMC (United Methodist Church) core values include " sanctification, tribute to God, free will, social justice, and salvation through Jesus Christ." The incorporation of these values keeps the UMC within the set mission and the vision. In fact, it creates a spiritual environment where individual members can grow and solidify their faith.
